2.5 miles, rating: Moderate, 2 hours long, Meets at Nature Center
Meet at the Nature Center for this hike. We will assemble before carpooling to the trailhead, where we head out along a fire trail towards the 10 O’clock Line Nature Preserve. This is the largest nature preserve in the state and has quite the unique story. After about 1 mile on the fire trail, we will meet up with Horse Trail B for a hike around the Nature Preserve. After hiking a bit, we will then hike back to the trailhead. The distance for this hike is approx. 2.5 miles, and will last about 2 hours. This hike is moderately rated, so be sure to dress for the weather and bring those hiking boots.
Due to the section of the hike on the horse trail, please do not bring pets.

Almost since its inception, PBS has been a political football. Even so it continues to be one of the most trusted institutions in America. But even many of PBS’s champions do not know where PBS came from, how it is structured, or how it is funded. Steve Krahnke, former Senior Lecturer in the Indiana University Media School, 30-year veteran of PBS stations and program production, and executive producer of the award-winning Cuba: The Forgotten Revolution, provides some clarity.

Thinking of getting your (or your daughter’s) ear lobes pierced?! Winter is the perfect time to do so, that way they’re healed for all the fun, ACTIVE things come summer! ☀️
Sunday, February 8th we’re hosting a special ear piercing party! 🥳 In addition to all the goodies you receive during a normal ear piercing appointment with Rustic Charm, attendees will receive a complementary bead of hair tinsel after their piercing AND sweet treats and beverages to celebrate!
During this event, we will have TWO trained piercers in the shop to simultaneously pierce ears! This is ideal especially for our younger attendees who might be a little more nervous about their appointment 🫶🏼
To reserve your spot, just go to Browncountycharm.com and book your ear piercing appointment as normal for February 8th. We will email you an invoice for a $15 deposit to reserve your spot within 48 hours. If your daughter decides to no longer proceed with the appointment, your deposit is *fully refundable* — the only way it is non refundable is for zero notice ahead of the appointment 🫶🏼
💕 Pricing details: Our normal piercing package pricing applies!! We’re just throwing in some fun extras during this event. 💫
Our surgical stainless steel earring packages include after care, a piercing certificate and a tiara, for $65. We have 23 different stainless steel steel earring options including birth stones, flowers, butterflies, pearls, and more 🙌🏼
The same package with natural 14k gold diamond earrings is $125. (Please note that we stock a limited amount of solid gold earrings. When you reserve your appointment, feel free to leave in the notes if you think you’ll want diamond earrings so we can order extra to ensure we have enough for everyone who desires this package). 💎
Please note that we do require an age minimum of five years old for ear piercing. If your child is slightly under five but has expressed wanting to get her ears pierced, please message us to further discuss. For any questions feel free to DM or send us an email! 💖💫

The Boulder in the Tree phenomenon is something we’ve seen in several places around Brown County including in the state park and in Yellowwood State Forest. This is your chance to get out and see one of these boulders stuck in in a tree. The question is, how did it get there? Come see it for yourself and make your most educated guess! This hike will be mostly off trail so please dress for the weather and know there may be a couple creek crossings depending on how high the water is. Boots are essential.
Please do not bring pets on off trail hikes.

Event Details
Get ready for a big night of laughs at the Brown County Playhouse when three seasoned veterans of the comedy scene—Dave “The King” Wilson, Dave Dugan and Tim Cavanagh—take the stage to deliver an unforgettable evening of stand-up.
Dave “The King” Wilson brings decades of stage presence and radio cred. He began doing stand-up in the 1980s and became a familiar voice in Indianapolis radio, notably on the renowned afternoon show on WIBC, and as part of the Bob & Tom universe. His large-than-life persona, radio chops, and Midwest roots combine for sharp, accessible humor that will resonate with anyone who loves a good story with attitude.
Dave Dugan offers a contrasting but equally strong presence—his every-man delivery, dry wit and clean material have landed him national exposure on networks like Comedy Central and HBO, as well as regular appearances on the syndicated Bob & Tom Show. He’s known for customizing his act to the audience, making him a favorite for live events and theaters alike—and now you get to see him live in a theatre setting.
Tim Cavanagh rounds out the trio with a comedic musical edge. He’s been performing for more than 30 years, producing rapid-fire jokes, parodies and songs, and has been featured on national television and radio including regular segments on the Bob & Tom Show. His style brings a different flavor—witty, playful, and adept at engaging the crowd.
Whether you’re a seasoned comedy fan or simply looking for a night out filled with laughter, this event checks all the boxes. Don’t miss out on this stand-up comedy night in Nashville, Indiana—two Daves and one Tim, each bringing their best for one unforgettable evening. Grab your tickets now, bring your friends, and get ready to laugh.

JUSTIN WELLS
There is a duality to Justin Wells. There is rough and there is vulnerable. Loud electric guitars, a whispered ballad. Frenzied, then glacial. Kentucky, Louisiana. Ebb and flow.
Heart music, from Lexington, KY.
He’s suddenly in the room, on the stage, undeniable, daring the listener to look anywhere but here. His band weaves around him, physically, musically. There’s no sell. You get the feeling that stage would get the same show if no one saw it. It’s a “has to be.” There is sweat, there is toil, there is a man
Going. Through. It.
Rolling Stone praised his “gift for melody”, and Saving Country Music his “stunning insight and honesty.”
In 2016, Dawn in the Distance was born. Songs for him.
In 2020, The United State. Songs for everyone else.
In 2025, Cynthiana. Songs for her.
