Strings and Winds
A star cast of orchestral and chamber musicians present a colorful assortment of instruments and music featuring classics from the wind and string repertoire: the fantastical Quartet of the 18-year-old Britten, the ballet-inspired Quintet of Prokofiev, and finally the ever-popular Beethoven Septet!
Britten: Phantasy Quartet for oboe, violin, viola, and cello
Prokofiev: Quintet for oboe, clarinet, violin, viola, and double bass
Beethoven: Septet for clarinet, horn, bassoon, violin, viola, cello, and bass
