A gorgeous program featuring the otherworldly sonatas of Saint-Saëns, composed in the last year of his long life. Balancing off the program will be Poulenc’s Trio- one of his finest achievements- as well as Mozart’s Piano Quintet- a work that Mozart himself considered “the best thing I have written in my life.”
