Campfire Storytime, Brown County State Park

Join the nature center mascots, Olive the Owl and Doug the Deer, and a park naturalist for a story reading. We will read Mossy by Jan Brett and enjoy a small campfire at the edge of the woods. Meet at the fire ring behind the Friends’ Shelterhouse near the Nature Center. Come early to enjoy the fire if you like!

We will take suggestions on kid friendly books about nature! Feel free to suggest a favorite of yours to the naturalist! Owl Moon, The Lorax, Mossy, and Zee Grows A Tree are popular titles, but we’d love to add more variety!
