☀️ It’s heating up again tomorrow, but don’t worry—there’s still plenty to enjoy in Brown County, even on a hot day! ☀️ Here are a few of my favorite ways to beat the heat while making the most of your time here:

1. Go outside (early): Many Brown County State Park trails are shaded—head out early for a peaceful, cool hike!
2. Get in some water: Try paddleboarding with Simply Fitness, kayaking with PathfinderOutfitters.com, or swim at the State Park pool. Don’t forget those creeks—kids love them!

3. Explore the shops: Nashville is packed with locally owned shops, most within easy walking distance and with AC for a quick cool-down.
4. Savor a slow meal (or a cozy coffee date): Grab a table at one of Nashville’s charming restaurants or coffee shops and take your time.

5. Ice cream, anyone? It’s the perfect excuse for a cone or milkshake! Favorites include Fearrin’s, Miller’s, Chocolate Moose, and Nashville Fudge Kitchen.
6. Catch live music or karaoke. Check out 19th Hole at Salt Creek, Brown County Playhouse, Music Center, Hard Truth Hills & more!

7. Cool off with a book. Stop by Naughty Dog Books, Fallen Leaf Bookstore, or the Brown County Public Library for a quiet indoor break.
8. Paint pottery: Visit Rivers and Roads or Our Little World Studio to paint your own pottery — it’s fun for all ages and a great souvenir!

I hope you have so much fun exploring things to do in Brown County, Indiana!
