Blessings Farmhouse was built in the early 1900’s as a rural farmhouse and added onto over time. Our family purchased the property in 2022, when it was in disrepair and the owner was considering demolition. We spent almost two years renovating the home and bringing it back to life (and occasionally questioning our sanity). We updated the home so it’ll be around for generations to come, while honoring its history and preserving unique features.
From the first time we visited, everyone commented about the incredible views surrounding the home and how special the property is (and we couldn’t agree more!)… we look around and are immediately reminded of our blessings. And we call it a farmhouse because it truly is one – there are farm fields surrounding the property. Depending when you visit you may see crops growing or even a tractor across the field. (There’s also a train track nearby that you can hear twice a day – our kids love it! In the early days, taking this train, then a horse and carriage, was the primary way for visitors to reach Nashville, IN!)
Being at the property, in the midst of natural beauty, helps us to step back from daily life and appreciate everything more. This property is a special place where memories are made, families are strengthened and hearts are healed. We pray it’s as much a blessing to you as it is to us.
