2.5 miles, rating: Moderate, 2 hours long, Meets at Nature Center

Meet at the Nature Center for this hike. We will assemble before carpooling to the trailhead, where we head out along a fire trail towards the 10 O’clock Line Nature Preserve. This is the largest nature preserve in the state and has quite the unique story. After about 1 mile on the fire trail, we will meet up with Horse Trail B for a hike around the Nature Preserve. After hiking a bit, we will then hike back to the trailhead. The distance for this hike is approx. 2.5 miles, and will last about 2 hours. This hike is moderately rated, so be sure to dress for the weather and bring those hiking boots.

Due to the section of the hike on the horse trail, please do not bring pets.
